Our client is an award-winning partner to market leaders in the Public and Private Sectors and the international Capital Markets. They provide digital solutions to enable their customers to transform and import the way they do business through enterprise integration, legacy system modernisation, data services, right through to complex transformational projects.

They are looking for Java Developers at a range of levels to strengthen their technical capability within the organisation. To support this projected growth, they want to attract talented Java Developers who will become key contributors to their digital transformation teams.

You will be responsible for:

* Developing Java Solutions to meet to produce high quality results which meet customer requirements.

* Identify defects and maintain high quality in code

* Investigate and identify bugs and text fixes

* Writing unit tests to ensure the customer's product is of the highest standard

* Maintaining automation tests

Requirements:

* 2+ years Java experience

* Familiar with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

* Strong experience of unit and regression testing

* Proficient use of source control tools e.g. git

* Experience using build tools, e.g. Maven, Gradle, Ant

* Familiar with common open-source frameworks and libraries, e.g. Spring, JUnit

* The ability to build strong working relationships with customers and other members of the software development teams

* The ability to operate well under a variety of different situations and types of projects, ranging from agile, a team of one, to a team of many

How will you stand out?

Experience in any of the following aren't required but will help your application:

* Ansible

* Scripting Languages (e.g. Python or Bash)

* Linux

* Messaging protocols (e.g. TCP, FIX, XML, JMS)

* Multi-threaded applications

* Machine Learning

* A.I.
