In this role, the successful candidate will be tasked with leading the Applications team in a dual engineering and commercial based role. You will liaise closely with the development teams and act as the point of contact for customers to ensure that the products are being developed in line with commercial requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a job with lots of variety where you will increase your technical knowhow and can progress within the business.

THE ROLE:

*Leading a small team of Applications Engineers

*Liaising with customers to advise on their needs and requirements

*Working closely with sales, marketing, design and manufacturing

*Blue sky product development

THE PERSON:

*An degree in electronics, software or similar

*Experience of smart metering, mobile phones, home automation, lighting/security or similar

*Knowledge of the product development cycle
