SAP Development Manager - This is a newly created position due to company growth. Joining an expanding team you will co-ordinate solutions delivered with SAP and web technologies using TFS and deployment of code which includes: ABAP, Java, PO, Fiori, Boomi, Javascript, HTML5, .net providing guidance across the stakeholder community, working with the wider applications team to ensure all applications are fit for purpose and deliver business value.

Overview

* Manage the team's workload and being the lead co-ordinator for all code delivery ensuring all stakeholders and programme/project are aware of workload and agree timescales.

* Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity based on advice from the technical teams.

* Manage the analysis and translation of functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.

* Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and application through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution.

* Co-ordinate developer resource for project delivery based on team lead management at the project/task level

* Be able to work with and supply sufficient information to functional, testing, training and PMO groups

* Understand the use of tools like Project Server, Team Foundation Server and HP ALM, understand the waterfall and agile methodologies

Key Skills

* SAP Agile delivery experience with knowledge of Transport Expresso and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS)

* Extensive experience of managing and delivering technical and functional solutions using SAP technology primarily; ABAP, WebDynPro, Fiori, Javascript, HTML5, PO, PI, APIs, Web services and Personas

* Extensive experience delivering solutions using an industry standard enterprise tool set that could include JIRA, Eclipse, TFS, HPALM or equivalent

* Good understanding of process design and data flows to ensure these are leveraged in solutions

* Very good experience of understanding and writing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of business focused technical solutions to an agreed and tested standard

* Must be able to gain SC clearance
