Talented IT leader to accelerate business growth

Bravissimo is a dynamic multi-channel retailer which provides lingerie, swimwear and clothing for women who need a D-L cup bra. We have ambitious plans for the future and we need a talented IT director to help us make them a reality.

About the job

As IT Director you will report to the MD and be responsible for all IT and systems within Bravissimo, both at a strategic and a day to day level. Bravissimo’s growth and success depends on an entrepreneurial and customer focused environment. It will be your job to ensure we have scalable systems and processes that are right for Bravissimo, and an engaged IT team that delivers what we need with pace and to quality.

We write most of our IT applications in house to support our very specialised service. Our systems have been developed on a variety of platforms, some now obsolete and some state of the art. Extensive systems development experience and a keen willingness to be hands on and pragmatic when needed is vital.

About you

You may be an IT director or an ambitious Head of IT. You will have a wealth of experience in systems development, IT service and project delivery, ideally for a multi-channel retailer. Outstanding leadership and people management skills are essential to the role. Significant change is needed in our IT team to meet our ambitious plans, and you should have the vision to determine the future business IT solutions, the confidence and initiative to make the changes needed to deliver these, and the leadership to plan and take the team with you. Proactive and positive in nature, you will be passionate about delivering on time and exceeding the expectations of internal customers. The role also requires a high level of intellect and speed of understanding, so you must be logical, analytical and numerate with a good degree or equivalent.

At Bravissimo we expect our directors to get involved in the wider business, so as well as having the skills of a senior IT professional, you must also be adaptable, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
