Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a leading global brand operating in the information space for a dynamic and innovative Development Manager to provide technical guidance and lead the core Apps team day to day developments for their Enterprise level software solution.

The main responsibilities in this role are -

* Interact with business / product to understand scope and clarification of requirements

* Estimate and plan development sprints according to priorities and business allocation

* Provide technical leadership to the team, ensuring design and architecture are aligned with the global platform strategy

* Develop and deliver features and infrastructure changes in agile methodologies

* Ensure fundamental quality practices are integrated in development lifecycle, such as automated test units, integration tests

* Own and be accountable for end to end deliveries

* Partner with DevOps to ensure reliability, scalability and comprehensive monitoring of Apps infrastructure. Ensure no service interruptions

* Collaborate with other Platform development managers to deliver workflows that may span across teams

* Interact with peers to avoid any work duplication, ensure teams are aligned and moving in the same direction, help them deliver their own requirement when they need feature changes in core Apps

* Report to Development Director the current progress, architecture, design decisions, roadblocks and dependencies

The successful candidate will display the following technical skills and experience -

* Developed and lead Full Stack systems involving client side code and web services

* Previously designed or refactored complex architecture involving several teams

* Demonstrable experience in technical leadership or team leading roles

* Strong JavaScript knowledge, Client Web technologies with Angular (nice to have typescript)

* Strong knowledge in WebServices written in C#, nodejs, jquery

* Web application development with HTML5, CSS3

* Experience with the .NET Framework

* Solid focus on system performance, scalability with the ability to solve problems in large and complex software systems

* Able to motivate and drive forward development teams, identifying development areas and supporting large scale software developments
