Job description/Person specification

We are looking to appoint a Programme Manager to lead a new delivery portfolio. Accountable for successful delivery of bids and projects to a diverse customer base, you will manage engagement with key client stakeholders, drive performance within the business, bring about change and ensure the growth strategy is executed effectively. In addition to day to day responsibilities you will support the Head of Programmes in delivery of the overall business targets.

Key Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of positive engagement with programme customers, partners and suppliers.

Ensuring all operations are delivered in a safe and secure manner and embedding a culture in line with the company values.

Delivering Programme outcomes, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales) and ensuring programme members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements.

Resolving conflicts (including prioritisation calls) within the programme and collaborating across the business along with performance management for your programme team setting appropriate personal objectives.

Leading the embedding of improvement in the company's project and programme management function, as agreed with IDT Leads and the Performance Excellence team.

You will maintain forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.

Application of governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work

Reporting progress on all accountabilities to IDT Lead (or their delegate).

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

* Industry recognised project management qualification. i.e. APM / Prince2 or demonstrable equivalent experience

* Demonstrable experience of full Lifecycle Project/Programme Management & Change Management

* Track record of successfully delivering programmes or complex projects.

* Experience leading programmes or complex projects to multiple customers.

* Ability to travel regularly between company sites (South England)

Desirable Experience:

* Experience leading and delivering Programmes

* Experience establishing, communicating, developing and promulgating appropriate entity Strategies

Personal Qualities Required:

* Innovative self-starter, able to offer solutions to problems

* Ability to become the Single Group POC for any queries relating to your niche within the business

* Leadership skills, able to oversee project managers and associated resources to deliver various project streams effectively

* Strong interpersonal skills to manage a varied stakeholder community
