Microsoft BI Developer required on a permanent basis to join an international support services organisation working out of their Cosham office. You will be primarily responsible for developing, managing and controlling solutions based on Microsoft's SQL Server 2016 Data and Business Intelligence Platforms.

You will be a senior member of the development team, with key responsibilities being:

* Providing support and assistance towards design and architecture for a maturing BI environment

* Building, testing, delivering and supporting the delivery of Microsoft based BI solutions

* Install, configure and work using several BI tools including Microsoft BI Tools and Power BI

* Monitor the health of the Microsoft BI environment and manage the security

* Building strong relationships with end users and exceeding customer expectations through the delivery of consistent and supportable BI solutions

* Gathering requirements for new processes needed and implement solutions

Qualifications/ Skills & Attributes:

* Microsoft SQL Server (ideally 2016)

* Strong experience in BI development

* Experience of gathering and documenting high quality business requirements, and interacting with business stakeholders through workshops, interviews & meetings

* Proven experience of working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions

* SSRS, SSIS, MS Excel desirable

* Relevant degree and Microsoft certifications highly desirable

* Power BI desirable

* £40,000 - £55,000 basic salary
