Project Design Engineer (Special Purpose Machinery)

Are you a mechanical design engineer from a special purpose machinery/materials handling background looking for a varied role where you will work on cradle to grave design projects for an expanding manufacturing company?

On offer is a challenging role where you take full responsibility for managing projects right from the initial design phase right through to final delivery.

This role is for a well-established manufacturing company that operates within a number of niche sectors. This is an autonomous role where you produce designs for new and existing products and will liaise directly with the customer on technical issues.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a reputable company who can offer future development opportunities as they continue to expand.

This role would suit a mechanical design engineer from a special purpose machinery background looking for an autonomous role.

THE ROLE

* Manage cradle to grave design projects for an expanding manufacturing company

* Producing detailed 3D design drawings for in house manufacture

* Completion of all procedural paperwork including creation of B.O.M.

THE PERSON

* Mechanical Design Engineering background

* Proficient in the use of 3D Solidworks and AutoCAD

* Ideally have some experience of FEA/Stress Analysis
