Reliability Engineer
FTSE 250 Engineering Organisation

I am recruiting a Reliability Engineer on behalf of a FTSE 250 Engineering Organisation. As a company they are involved in cutting edge and exciting projects both in the UK and internationally. This particular role is within their Nuclear Division and involves working with Key industry partners on high profile projects.
T-RAM is a specialist function which sits within the Safety &Hazard Management (S&HM) team. The role will provide support, help, guidance and technical expertise on a range of issues including:
* Reliability Modelling
* Hazard ldentification (e.g FMEA/FMECA)
* Fault Analysis (FTA, ETA, RBDs)
* Human Reliability
* Probabilistic Risk Analysis
* Reliability Centred Maintenance
* Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
* T-RAM Case
Responsibilities
* Ensuring that procedures are correctly applied to technical activities.
* Supporting or preparing and agreeing the RAM and TRAM Strategy.
* Ensuring that TRAM requirements are embodied in designs.
* Co-ordinating production of the TRAM deliverables.
* Supporting the nuclear RAM and TRAM input to design projects and bids.
* Supporting or providing the link and ensuring adequate communication between the Engineering Delivery Team, Construction Experts, Designers, and Operators.
* Managing delivery for the work undertaken within their agreed remit against cost and programme to the satisfaction of the Key stakeholders.
* Managing project risks by closing out RAM and TRAM items on the Technical issues and Risk Register Database
The ideal Candidate
* Bachelor Honours Degree in Science or Engineering related discipline (preferred)
* 5 years direct and relevant experience of undertaking T-RAM assessments
* Experienced in managing teams to deliver technically complex, fit for purpose RAM assessments
* Provision of leadership in key technical areas and to drive innovation and value added activities
* Detailed knowledge and experience of Regulatory negotiation, safety management and specialist advice.
* Mentoring and development of more junior staff
* Experienced in the use of software packages including:
* Microsoft Office Suite
* FaultTree+
* ReliaSoft BlockSim
* Reliability Workbench
