Contract, Software Verification Engineer, Medical Devices, Embedded Software, 2 Months, £38/£40 per hour, East Midlands.

An urgent need has come up with my client a medical device company based in the East Midlands to work on all aspects of software verification on a safety critical project working to IEC62304 standards.

The role will include a mixture of PC and Embedded Software and its associated hardware. You will be working with the test team on an urgent project.

This will involve creating and executing tests and ensuring they are fully documented and ensuring it is compliant with the requirements from the QA's requirements and the verification process documentation.

Key Skills:

*Prior experience working in a safety critical environment creating tests for embedded systems and the ability to use standard test equipment and create tests for PC systems.

Desirable:

*Experience working with IEC 62304 and a good knowledge of C/C++, C# Or Python

If you are interested in the role, interviews will be occurring from next week for an ASAP start date.

It will be a single stage face to face interview process. The role is set to last at least 2 months to meet an urgent requirement but further extensions are likely. They are looking to pay between £38/£40 per hour based on a 37.5 hour week.
