Technical Support Engineer - (Multi-skilled)The Technical Support Engineer will be a part of a team working on Manufacturing projects from start to finish. Due to continued growth and the number of projects they're getting through, this organisation supplying products for the Manufacturing sector based in Birmingham with sites all around the world and is running exciting projects and are looking for an ambitious Technical Support Engineer to join their team with regular travel around Europe and OverseasSalary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits + Overtime (Must be able to travel regularly)Technical Support Engineer (Multi-skilled) Responsibilities and Skills: '€¢5-7 years servicing experience with a focus on installation, repair and testing of electronic and mechanical equipment'€¢Experience in a field engineering role, dealing with mechanical, electrical and software issues are considered highly'€¢ONC, HNC in Mechanical &/or Electronic Engineering (European specific)'€¢Current New Zealand Practising Electrical License '€¢Working knowledge of current market trends and competitors'€¢Fully competent in industrial electronic & power theory and schematics '€¢Industrial software programming '€¢Understands PLC / PC'€¢Exposure to the FMCG manufacturing industry (specifically food and packaging) is advantageous'€¢Mechanical experience, methodical and well organised '€¢Self-motivated and driven, able to work unsupervised '€¢Identification with the values that the company uphold including being a team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treat people with dignity and respect'€¢Able to travel around Europe, the UK and overseas at short notice and for large amounts of time Technical Support Engineer requirements:The successful Technical Support Engineer should have a strong background in Electrical Engineering especially working on high speed and old machinery and also have knowledge of Fault finding and knowledge on the Electrical side of things using PLC's.
