Tableau Agile Business Analyst - Investment Bank

Tableau Business Analyst with Proven and demonstrable experience of working as a BA in an investment banking environment across a range of topics, able to challenge and question developer assumptions and estimates and able to fully enunciate users' needs into understandable requirements/user stories. Software development and delivery using Agile methodology

Delivery of Tableau based solutions as a functional BA. Working with mixed location teams including development teams off shore. Essential competencies:- Strong functional knowledge of Tableau solutions, able to converse and discuss with users potential Tableau solutions. Strong data analysis skills (across different source systems). Effective communication skills, able to deal independantly with users and developers to move topics forward, Self-motivated and results driven. Able to analyse and resolve problems independently, well-organised and able to manage their time effectively

Role:

You will be required to provide Tableau specific Business Analysis services to a number of internal clients eg. Compliance, Operations, Due Diligence.

The successful candidate will need to work independently and successfully with the sponsors and their representatives in the UK and with the application developers off shore in Mumbai and Chennai via Agile framework. Strong data analysis skills, good functional working knowledge of Tableau as well as the ability to articulate user needs into easily understandable user stories and define clear and exhaustive test criteria are essential.

                                                                                                                                                                           All aspects of Business Analysis inclusive of requirements identification, User Stories generation, analysis and documenting of process flows, analysis of required data sources, test planning and execution, preparation and delivery of training to users, generation of user guides.

                                                                                                                                                                           Promote the advantages of a Tableau solution whilst challenging the development team to produce fit-for-purpose dashboarding solutions

                                                                                                                                                                           Work in an Agile development framework, collaboratively via sprint protocols, removing impediments to development progress as needed.

Team support

                                                                                                                                                                           Foster strong working relationships with the developers and users to ensure that the software developed is fit for purpose
