Identity, Directory and Access Management Director - 6 Months - Port Sunlight (preferred location) or Kingston upon Thames with travel

IDAM Director required to join a client in the Fast-moving consumer goods industry on a 6 month contract. Candidates can either be based in Port Sunlight (preferably) or in Kingston upon Thames. Candidates based in Kingston upon Thames will be required to travel to Port Sunlight every 1 to 2 weeks out of every 4. The role will also involve travel to Bangalore every 3 months.

Key Accountabilities:

* Develop a 2 - 3 year roadmap to build and maintain a compliant, cost effective, flexible and resilient global service delivery model for Identity Directory & Access management services Support Information Security agenda security information assets

* Manage high performance teams across the landscape

* Manage operational services to achieve high levels of performance and satisfaction Embed a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

* Manage costs to achieve year on year efficiency savings, understand cost drivers, maximise incentives to reduce cost and give end to end cost visibility/ownership to Geo-IT/business clusters

* Define the optimum operation model, including accountabilities/hand-off points with other UK teams and vendor partners.

Experience & Skills

* 10+ years in complex IT environment including experience of being accountable for technology platforms and related systems such as Active Directory (Azure/OnPrem), MIM, O365 Tenant Management, Citrix, VPN Mobile device

* 5+ years in relevant technology operations, including strategy, road mapping, architectures and operations management.

* Experience (desirable) of the in-scope technology platforms Proven experience managing complex technology projects Good commercial awareness, financial management, business case development and TCO models.

* Strong consultation, interpersonal and influencing skills Vendor management and evaluation skills including running RFI/RFC and POC's and delivering through global and regional partnerships.

* People Leadership across global teams

* Continuous Improvement & Innovation; Analysis & Problem Solving Strategic Planning

Key duties:

* Deliver the IDAM Programme responsibilities that fall within the scope of this role - particularly B2B Identity Management, 3rd Party Access Management, AD 2016 Upgrade, MFA Upgrade, Citrix Upgrade

* Deliver strategic roadmaps for all services within scope in alignment with InfoSec and Enterprise Architecture

* Improve ways of working and governance with InfoSec teams

The ideal candidate will come from an AD and MIM Identity Management background. Some Information Security experience would be beneficial.

You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of technology areas listed in above.

You must have good people leadership skills with experience of working with teams in India.
