Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Test Manager for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£400-450/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

* Creating the test strategy, clearly defining the roles and responsibilities for testing, working with the Programme Communications team to make sure these are understood across the organisation.

* Help co-ordinate user engagement to support user centred design.

* Review and refine the definition of done and development standards.

* Working with the supplier to ensure the development is completed to the correct quality, with quality standards built in.

* Supporting the development team with the creation of test environments.

Requirements:

* Experienced Test Manager who has previously worked in the public sector.

* Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.

* Experienced in the use of JIRA (or similar).

* Have at least 3 yrs experience of practical quality assurance experience in an agile environment.

* Experience of test management within transformational programmes working with multiple suppliers from a client side role.
