Project Support (Windows 7 upgrade) - Contract - 2 months initially - Hampshire. My Hampshire based client is looking for a Project Support consultant that has experience of working closely with Windows upgrades and O365 for an initial 2 month contract which is likely to be extended further. If you have previous experience with Windows deployments or Desktop Support that would also be of interest.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Comparison of large data sets (excel) - Potentially using scripts.

- Understanding of different versions of Windows, awareness of O365.

- Ability to talk to people about machine requirements (on foot data gathering)

- Ability to put together options for minimum spend on replacements

- Understanding of user experience and upgrade paths for legacy hardware

- Not software/Apps bias

- Someone with experience of desktop hardware upgrades and refresh in the Microsoft environment (potentially with an earlier background in helpdesk/desktop/deskside support)

- Not necessarily PM background as not relevant to the work, however, needs to be comfortable creating an options paper and SWOT

- High level of written and verbal literacy

- Significant Excel knowledge to make financial comparisons

- Must work independently and multitask
