Data Scientists - Permanent - London & South West Regions - Market Rates
Practitioners will have experience of using advanced analytics and statistical techniques to drive insights from data sets. Experience in MDM clustering, thematic scope resolution and entity relationships analysis is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis / Modelling (statistical modelling / R)
* Developing Proofs of concept
* Algorithm development
* Data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL)
* Machine learning (Anaconda / Python)
* Data manipulation (SQL)
Skills / Experience:
* Information Management
* Content Management
* Data Visualisation
* Data Governance and Quality Management
* Data Architecture (including security architecture)
* Linked Data (or the semantic web)
* Business Intelligence and Decision Support tools
* Proof of Concept creation and deployment
* User Experience, Usability and good practise design for visualisation
* Visualisation project build and delivery
* Web app and custom visualisation
* Data manipulation
Desirable Skills:
* Virtual or Augmented Reality Visualisation development
* Natural Language Processing or Generation
* Big data visualisation
* Geospatial analytics experience in ArcGIS or other toolset
* Integration of R/SPSS or other data science tool within visualisations
* Specific industry experience of analytics
