Automation Test Engineer needed for ground-breaking and pioneering business in Oxford. Being an Automation Test Engineer you'll be joining the company's development team. Being responsible for supporting the testing state-of-the Art products, designing and implementing both manual and automated tests at different levels of the software design, from unit testing through to the whole system.

How you day will look;

* Designing, developing, running and maintaining automated tests, including unit and regression tests.

* Overseeing day-to-day operations of Continuous Integration Servers.

* Ensuring all target systems are up-to-date with the latest software releases.

* Contributing to product improvements by contributing ideas and providing feedback.

* Testing the systems end-to-end, including practice tests.

* Logging, monitoring and retesting all faults found during testing.

Essential skills and experience;

* Minimum 2 years of commercial experience, preferably having worked within an Automated & Manual Testing role.

* Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages: UNIX bash, DOS batch, Python, JavaScript.

* Proven experience in software testing: test design, regression tests, and automation.

* Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.

Desirable skills and experience;

* Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Java, C#, C.

* Demonstrable experience writing unit tests (ideally in C++).

* Good knowledge of Windows and Linux.
