A leading name in the development of Automotive Electronic Systems seeks a Software Test and Simulation Engineer with proven experience of using specialist automotive development and test tools together with some programming skills and experience of testing embedded platforms.

The successful Software Test Engineer will get involved with a range of tasks including software development of applications for testing, developing in line with Automotive SPICE processes, contributing towards the development of use cases as well as analysing test results and reviewing requirements for testability. The focus of this role to the test of complex sensor systems particularly around camera calibration, but will also include approaches such as tracking algorithms and geometry.

The key Requirements include:

                               A Degree in a quantitative scientific or engineering discipline.

                               Experience of testing embedded platforms.

                               Using specialist automotive development and test tools.

                               Programming in at least one of Python, C or C++.

                               Proven experience of working within a SW development environment.

                               IBM DOORS.

                               Good communication and teamwork skills.

This position is open to applicants with good testing experience within a software development environment and ideally with some exposure to automotive applications.
