Software Engineer - Embedded Software, DO178 Development, DAL B, ADA, EA, DOORS, Agile

We are recruiting for a Software Engineer to work in Cheltenham. This is due to needing additional resource on several of our projects.

The role will see you working for a world-leading provider of commercial and military jet engines, components and mechanical systems for aircrafts.

Ideally candidates should have Type 1 + Type 2 experience but either or would also be considered.

Type 1:

Software Verification- Role includes, but not limited to, the following activities:

* DO178 Verification, DAL B

* Embedded Systems

* Integration Testing,

* Agile - scrum and or kanban

* Test procedures,

* Test Scripts,

* Unit test

* Review and acceptance of test

* Analysis of systems test procedures against Software HLRs

* Interfacing with Team and leadership

* Verification Analysis

* Tool qualification activities

* DOORS

Type 2:

Embedded Software Development - Role includes, but not limited to, the following activities

* DO178 Development, DAL B

* Implementation of requirements changes

* Investigation and implementation of Problem reports and change requests

* Interfacing with Team and leadership

* Review and re-work of design artefacts

* ADA or other embedded experience

* EA

* DOORS

* Agile - scrum or kanban

* Requirement review and disposition

Details:

* Location: Cheltenham

* Working hours: 37 per week

* Salary: £45k-£55k depending on skills
