My Edinburgh based client are currently looking to add a Junior Service Desk Engineer to their team. This role would suit a candidate with at least 6 months commercial experience of working in a customer facing, Microsoft focused IT support role.
What will the role involve?
You will be providing support to external clients, resolving tickets in a timely manner and escalating more complex issues to senior members of the team. The role is customer facing, so requires good soft skills. There will be a wide variety of issues to resolve and the role offers significant opportunity to up skill.
What experience do I require?
This role is well suited to an individual with a minimum of 6 months commercial experience. Knowledge of the following is desired:
* Windows Desktop 7, 8, 10
* Exposure to Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016
* Exchange Server
* Active Directory
* Office 365
* LAN & WAN Support
* Exposure to UTM / NextGen Firewalls
