Maintenance Engineer - (Mechanical bias)The Maintenance Engineer will be a part of a team working on Packaging projects from start to finish working on old machinery. Due to continued growth and the number of projects they're getting through, this organization supplying products for the Manufacturing sector based in the Stockport with sites all around the world and is running exciting projects and are looking for an ambitious Maintenance Engineer to join their team being based in the UK.Salary: Up to £36,000 + Benefits + OvertimeMechanical Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled) Responsibilities and Skills: '€¢Proven electrical/mechanical maintenance experience '€¢Good understanding of building fabric maintenance'€¢Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.'€¢2-5 years industry experience '€¢Hands-on Machinery knowledge - Old and high-speed machinery a variety '€¢PLC knowledge - Fault finding '€¢Experience doing Maintenance repairs on a regular basis '€¢Experience working in a team '€¢Can work independently '€¢Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems '€¢Gearboxes, drives, and motors experience '€¢Shift work so preferably an individual that can cope and has had previous experience with shifts'€¢Fault Finding experience '€¢Strong Mechanical Qualifications and background'€¢Competent engineer able to work on their own '€¢Multi skilled background'€¢Individuals that are happy to work 3 shifts Monday - Friday (6-2 -2-10 10-6) on rotating weeks. Maintenance Engineer requirements:The successful Maintenance Engineer should have a strong background Mechanical Maintenance especially working on high speed and old machinery and also have knowledge of Fault finding and knowledge on the Electrical side of things. You should have been educated with an HNC or higher. If you have a strong background with Ladder logic that would be desirable.
