Embedded Software Engineer - Contract - Surrey

The role will encompass the Development of Embedded Software for Data Handling Systems and the successful applicant will be involved with:

· Development of software to an agreed specification

· Low-level design work

· Configuration and Testing of Software

· General Problem solving

· Working as part of team to deliver final product.

Candidates will be expected to have in depth experience of the development of High Speed Data Handling systems and the essential skills are:

· C Expertise

· ARM based processors

· Use of Version Control and Bug tracking systems

· Flexible and able to work under pressure.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience of low-level driver development.

· Understanding of Hardware aspects. - FPGA interfacing etc.

In addition any exposure to the following would be beneficial:

· SmartFusion M3 ARM

· Knowledge of Flash based File Systems.

· Development of Test Tools in Visual Studio

· Understanding of implementation aspects of IP links.

· CAN Bus.
