BUSINESS ANALYST

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Business Analyst to join a leading UK bank to support Retail Credit Risk regulatory deliveries. You will be responsible for the embedding of new processes and behaviours into the Risk Business and wider support teams in response to the introduction of a key regulation.

This is an initial 3 month contract (high chance of extension) based in Halifax, paying £400 per day.

For this position, the below experience is essential:

* Experience in financial services regulatory change (e.g. BCBS239, IFRS9)

* A strong understanding of key data and risk reporting concepts

* Ability to identify and articulate process gaps, risks and opportunities

* Understanding of how the design of and detail of business processes impact business embedding of regulation

* Ability to evaluate, review, investigate and challenge proposals, processes and data relevant to risk reporting

* Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to effectively communicate ideas, proposals, issues and implications in a simple way
