I'm currently recruiting a SQL Developer to join my client based in North Bristol. The IT team has received heavy investment after securing a number of new clients in the past 12 months. With the work load increasing and being the UK leader within their field, a Greenfield project has just been signed off to work on the launch of their new system, supporting the business and building a reporting database.The is the perfect opportunity for a SQL Developer to come in and join a passionate and tech savvy development team to expand your SQL knowledge and database design skills. As the SQL Developer you will be given the chance to develop your knowledge and work on a number of other tools such as Oracle, JavaScript and BIRT reports.Key responsibilities for the SQL Developer:

'€¢Deploying technical expertise in the development of tactical tools, coupled with strategic migrations to support strategic direction and execution'€¢Producing technical architecture solution details along with additional relevant documentation'€¢Conducting code reviews with team members to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development and revise as necessary to ensure compliance'€¢Build and maintain a brand new BI Reporting system'€¢Delivering ad hoc development, reporting as required in a fast paced, changing environment

Key skills for the SQL Developer:

'€¢SQL Server 2012+ '€¢T-SQL - experience in creating stored procedures, triggers and functions '€¢Database maintenance and design '€¢Experience or an understanding of Oracle, BIRT reports and javascript'€¢Requirements gathering and report writing using SSRS, Crystal Reports or a similar BI reporting tool 

The role is paying up to £40,000 with initial interviews lined up for the week commencing the 27th August.
