SQL - DBA - Database Administrator

Our client, a high profile organisation in Central Birmingham is currently looking for a SQL Database Administrator for an initial period of 3 months (extensions very likely).

The role sits within a major data warehouse build programme of work and will require a highly skilled DBA with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Administration & Optimisation of database/ server backend and in Source-to-Target Analysis & Mapping documentation , as well as a good understanding of development of SQL Server database physical design to implement normalised (3NF) data warehouse from logical model.

Experience of ETL Development, maintenance & assurance (SSIS) in extracting, transforming & loading data from source systems into data warehouses is required as well as a good working knowledge of the following tools: SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS/ SSAS, T-SQL, SQL, Power BI/ SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
