Software Developer - Manchester

£40,000 - £45,000

Fujitsu's 'Centre of Excellence' in Manchester provides products and services around its 'VME' enterprise platforms. The 'HostTalk' product range delivers integration and modern user interfaces to these enterprise systems, using .NET and Java environments. We are recruiting experienced developers to join the HostTalk team to further enhance the product suite's capabilities.

The role holder is responsible for developing and supporting complex software and solutions for our Customers. This role is predominantly software support and development of the integration toolset, 'HostTalk'.

Essential Skills:

* .NET (VB and/or C#)

* Java

* JavaScript (and JavaScript frameworks)

* REST/JSON APIs

* Unit testing

* Review code for conformance to coding guidelines

* Ability to re-design or re-factor code

* Show an awareness and understanding of software design, development and lifecycles

* Involved in the peer reviewing of designs
