Spring Technology have partnered with a brand new client in order to find an extraordinary talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

My client is a global managed service provider who can offer the successful candidate an amazing working environment and exposure to the latest cutting edge technologies.

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will provide expertise in supporting, managing, and

maintaining the customer cloud based IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

*Responsible for providing 3rd line incident resolution of customer incidents escalated to the team. Working in conjunction with the Managed Hosting Engineers and 3rd Party Resolver groups to provide incident resolution, problem management and root cause analysis. This role provides the final escalation for all incidents within the support operation.

*Have the capability to identify serious issues and identify a course of action to minimise or eradicate the possibility of impacting on our customer systems availability.

*Have the capability to make technical decisions and implement service restoration workarounds whilst root cause is established.

*Work to a structured OLA and understand the customer SLA structure in order to meet the contractual requirements.

*Service restoration must be at the forefront of incident resolution in order to meet contractual SLA's and managed by this role.

*Produce technical report information in order for the Service Delivery teams to produce customer reports.

*As part of this role, there may be a requirement to work on an Out of Hours rota as agreed, depending on business decisions.

Key Skills:

*Experience working in Systems Support, 2nd/3rd line support roles in a Service Provider / Outsource environment

*Recognised certifications and/or relevant experience of the Microsoft Azure.

*Recognised certifications and/or relevant experience of the Office 365.

*Excellent Knowledge and Experience of PowerShell & Scripting

*Excellent experience of managing Virtual Environments (VMware, Hyper-V).

*Excellent experience of Managing Active Directory, ADFS, & Group Policy

*Excellent working knowledge of SCCM, Citrix, Networks, Replication, storage and Backup technologies and how they interact within an overall technical solution.

*Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS and DHCP.

*Good knowledge of remote software and tools.
