Senior Commercial Manager required to work in the Defence industry for one of the UK's Largest Engineering Support Services Organisation based in Telford.
The successful candidate will be working for the Commercial Director and will be required to support all commercial activity with regard to the relevant line of business. Main priorities will be given to commercial issues, protection of risk, improved governance for a contract with the Ministry of Defence.
Main Tasks:
* Strategic commercial advice, guidance and delivery output for all matters relating to the commercial activity
* Lead and manage negotiations
*
Lead and manage any growth opportunities across the Defence Business Unit
*
Lead development and implementation of of new contractual documents including (but not limited to) Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Consultancy Agreements
Required Experience and Qualifications:
* Proven track record at a strategic operating level of leading negotiations and closing multi £m contracts
* Proven strategic commercial background in multi-disciplinary environments covering the contract life cycle
* Ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and Risk to delivery.
* Qualified to degree level in a commercial discipline

Confident with the credibility to influence at a senior level
