Systems Analyst Programmer

Requirement:

* 5 years experience of programming in commercial environments, preferably in the finance sector

* Experience of working with relational databases

* Experience of the full project life cycle, preferably Agile

* Comfortable working with bespoke legacy systems

* Design and development of software solutions to meet business needs

* Conduct testing of solutions and support user acceptance testing

* Peer reviews

* Provide second line application support (including out of hours support)

Essential skills:

* C/C++, Perl

* Unix and/or Linux

* Relational Database & SQL

Desirable skills:

* Cobol

* Knowledge of Life & Pensions

* HTML, XML, XSLT

* JavaScript

* ETL

* Ingres Database and iSQL

* Database Connectors - JDBC/ODBC
