Due to a very successful H1, the Enterprise New Business Sales team within this well respected Telecoms Providers are recruiting for a new Senior Business Development Manager. The business sell a broad range of telecoms solutions to include Voice, Connectivity, Mobile & Cloud Services. This business are a dynamic organisation that have invested in emerging technologies and are definitely considered one of the UK’s market leaders.
This business have the capability to win big ticket opportunities and to support some of the largest and most prestigious customers in the UK. However they also have the agility that some of the bigger telecoms solutions providers are lacking - meaning that they can act quicker and be more flexible to ensure they deliver exactly what their customers are looking for.
The team that are looking to recruit are the "big hitters" of the business, they are the most successful new business team in the organisation and they are looking for their next superstar. This team focus purely on the Enterprise markets, they sell complex and high value solutions in to new logo target clients, securing deal sizes of c.£1M+
The Role:
New Business Sales
Selling complex Telecoms Solutions to include Voice, Connectivity (MPLS, SD-WAN etc) & Cloud Services
Winning new Enterprise clients (in a direct sales model)
Working with the marketing teams on targeted campaigns
Attending networking events
Uncovering big ticket opportunities, both project & contract based
Managing virtual teams to ensure clients have the technical & commercial support they need
Presenting to clients at CxO level
Contract negotiation
Forecast & Pipeline Management
Who are we looking for?
At least 5+ years in a new business sales role, selling complex telecoms in to large enterprise target accounts
Experience in winning complex telecommunications opportunities of £1M+
CxO level negotiation experience
The Ability to build & manage virtual teams across the UK, including Pre-Sales, Project Management, Senior Management, Sales Specialists etc.
Someone who is flexible to travel across the UK to clients sites
Self-motivated and able to work from home
A strong commercial knowledge of complex telecommunications, including Voice, Connectivity & Cloud Services
Strong presentation skills
A hard working & dynamic individual with clear personal goals
