One of the UK’s leading currency exchange providers is looking to significantly expand its financial product offering by investing in cutting edge technology. Successful candidates will take part in building , launching and continuously tweaking the online trading platform, you will also integrate regulatory technology products and develop Open-banking projects as well as creating and integrating new API’s to aid the continual enhancement of our client experience.

Technologies Used

LAMP stack - with a focus on PHP and SQL

Familiarity with Linux and Apache or equivalent API

Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript

Knowledge/Competence of common security issues, (including using encryption and injection mitigation in code)

Can write un-complicated code, and knows how and when to optimise this for performance

Desirable Skills

Basic knowledge of intrusion prevention systems

TCP/IP

Virtualisation (ESX & KVM)

(RESTful) Webservices and microservices including XML and JSON data interchange
