Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Birmingham

£60k### + Benefits

Based in Birmingham the Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of innovative power electronics technology.

The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will work within an existing team and will be responsible for tasks including the full design life-cycle of SMPS's, IGBT's and MOSFET's. Other responsibilities will also include assessing power conversion topologies, writing technical reports, interaction with other engineering teams, lead failure resolution and assist the test teams.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have a demonstrable background in the following:

* Power Electronics.

* Inverters Design

* Control strategies

* IGBT / MOSFETs design.
