Real Pharma have partnered with a fast growing, leading biotechnology company, with a special focus in gene therapy.

Due to an impressive pipeline and an increase in work demand, our client is seeking a QA Consultant to step in as the Quality Manager for 6 months.

Role responsibilities:

* To manage the daily QA activities

* To oversee the quality systems and processes for the organisation

* Advise and approve validation reports

* Perform routine QA duties to ensure GxP compliance - Qualification & validation, Document management, Change controls and CAPAs

* To Ensure other regulatory requirements relating to manufacture and clinical trials for cellular therapies are met

* Support and manage internal/external audits

* To direct and have a key involvement/input into company policies and practices

* To liaise with other departments including clinical, regulatory and manufacturing teams to implement and develop documentation

The ideal consultant will need:

* a BSc (or equivalent) in a life sciences (or related industry)

* Experience working within cell therapy / gene therapy

* At least 5 years relevant experience within QA

* Experience developing and maintaining QMS

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to advise senior management and other departments on QA related matters

* QA experience within a contract manufacturing environment
