I am working with an organisation in North East England who are looking for a Freedom of Information Officer on an interim basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with its responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations.

The post holder will collectively manage freedom of information/environment information requests with the wider team, ensuring that statutory deadlines are complied with, exemptions are applied where necessary and information is made available to the public.

You must have experience working in a public sector organisation dealing with FOI requests & SAR requests.

Location: North East England

Rate: £200- £300 per day

Start date: within next 2 weeks
