*Support the People Systems strategy by leading the Workday improvement, new feature and functionality roll out that drives increasing value and effectiveness from Workday to the business.

*Lead Workday functional analysts in the design, development, and implementation of Workday processes and new features - Identify opportunities for change and enhancement of HR (P&C) activities either through process improvement, training or new features. Continually evaluate and enhance technology functionality, including on-going maintenance, and implementation and testing of new processes and programs.

*Lead the Workday functional expertise for the business, ensuring that day to day issues are managed and escalations received from HRIS service delivery teams are dealt with promptly.

*Build strong relationships with other HRIS functional managers ensuring that the total people systems landscape is managed in partnership with each other.

*Provide recommendations for aligning strategies to support current and long-range business needs and objectives based on deep expertise of the Workday application.

*Build and own strong relationships with senior business and HR (P&C) stakeholders, engaging and entrusting their support to bring continued Workday improvement to the business. Be the trusted advisor to these stakeholders of the organisational impact of systems implementations in terms of competencies, roles, responsibilities, training, communication.

*Build and own the relationship with Workday to ensure that they partner with us to deliver our vision for Workday at Primark.

*Build and own the relationships with any 3rd party providers proving support to the Workday application ensure that their solutions are tested to match the business requirements.

*Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt responses to queries and resolution of systems issues.

*To scope and define data information requirements and validate any data migration exercises.

*Facilitate comprehensive end-to-end testing to ensure user acceptance of solutions and quality of implementation.

*Communicate and influence stakeholders within the organisation to support the system adoption and evolution.

*Design and deliver system training, including engaging user training material and system guides

*Partner with colleagues to govern/oversee business projects and change.
