Digital Messaging Specialist

The role of the Digital Messaging Specialist is based within Digital Department. The Digital Value Added Messaging (VAM) group will have the responsibility of continuously executing, on behalf of Digital groups, optimized messaging and targeting to customers. The scope of the messaging will primarily be the Personal Internet Banking, Mobile and Public Website areas, with associated landing pages, calls to action and supporting collateral for these communications. This will also extend beyond the website to other digital channels. This group will need to seamlessly produce, deploy, measure and optimize targeted communications to customers.

The role holder will lead a cluster of regional activities in charge of flawless and optimum execution of such value added messages. Also, this role supports the Senior Value Added Messaging Manager in all value added messaging related tasks/activities.

Another key aspect is to support the global adoption of VAM services, increasing the global reach covered across markets, customer base and digital channels. This includes organising and planning markets on-boarding, implementing and evolving ways of working with markets adopting the service, providing ongoing support and working with analytics and technology teams to enable the required data supply chain. Finally, measuring messages performance to drive learning and shared with markets and other teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading a cluster of regional messaging in accordance with Centre of Excellence principles

* Escalating point for project issues and concerns

* Continuous optimizing and improving digital messaging through a closed-loop metrics driven process

* Managing key stakeholders include group digital, analytics and technology

* Establishing excellent working relationship with digital teams and the wider content requestors community across the business

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:

* Have demonstrated experience in digital analytics and targeted messaging

* Have strong digital conversion tracking skills

* Experience with e-retailers in the field of smart recommendations and cross sell leveraging analytical insights

* Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g commercials, risk, customer experience; determine the implications and make recommendations as needed.

The base location of this role will be London - Bluefin
