Test Analyst/UAT Analyst required on a permanent basis for a leading global provider of financial administration solutions. The successful Test Analyst must have Significant experience of test analysis within the User Acceptance Testing function on projects and small portfolios of change items and have an Excellent understanding of Testing approaches and methodologies.

As a Test Analyst you are expected to:

** Be confident deriving testable scenarios from complex specifications;

** Be proficient in creating test scenarios and test charters (for Formal Exploratory Testing);

** Be familiar with the terminology described within the current iteration of the ISTQB Glossary;

** Have achieved or be working to achieve ISTQB Foundation level qualification;

** Be or actively work to become proficient in the basic tools for the job including:

** Using your PC effectively (i.e. understanding Windows operating system, browser/ OS settings, use of MS-Office proficiently etc.);

** Test/ defect management tools (e.g. HP-ALM, VSTS etc.);

** The systems, services and solution being tested or that are required to effectively perform testing;

** A variety of browsers including Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox;

** Basic SQL skills;

Essential Skills

Significant experience of test analysis within the User Acceptance Testing function on projects and small portfolios of change items.

Excellent understanding of Testing approaches and methodologies.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Use of at least one Test Tool

Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities

Ability to liaise with managers providing updates on testing progress

Flexibility, ability to manage uncertainty

Results driven and self-motivated

Able to work effectively as part of a team

THE CLIENT

A leading global provider of financial administration solutions, working in partnership with over 7000 clients including Asset managers and investors, Business managers and asset owners. The client provide the infrastructure through which assets are secured or deployed in both regulated and unregulated markets.

LOCATION

This role will be based in the clients Bromley office and has fantastic transport links into central London and Kent including Train, Tram and Buses. The office is in close proximity to a large shopping centre which includes a number of high quality restaurants.

SALARY

The client are able to offer a base salary of £34k per annum and offer a great benefits package.
