We are currently looking for an Actuary with very good knowledge of the Swiss pension system and model calculation in this area. This is a contract assignment with a prestigious insurance company in Zurich.

Tasks

* Analysis and optimization of existing mathematical models within the realm of life insurance, 2nd pillar pension

* Actively contribute to provision of professional actuarial support and advice to senior management

* Calculate pension and other long-term benefit plans under IFRS and US GAAP

* Review and challenge calibration results and communicate model updates to stakeholders

Requirements

* University Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Financial Mathematics or similar

* Several years of experience in life insurance model calculations

* Qualified Actuary (SAV or similar qualification)

* Excellence experience in Prophet modelling or equivalent tool

* Good knowledge of SQL

* Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
