My client is currently looking for a Quality Engineer based in Telford. The company specialise in speed production of various parts and instruments on demand working with plastics, metal and silicone rubber. They're looking for 2 quality engineers to join the team due to a huge expansion that has been happening over the last few years. It is essential that all candidates have experience in Plastic Injection Moulding due to the high complexity of the products they make. The Quality Engineer role is as follows:-          Overseeing the quality of various moulding products-          Monitoring QMS systems-          Analysis of data in non-conformance-          Root Cause Analysis and NCRs-          Lean Manufacturing-          Reducing waste and costs through various techniques-          Advising senior management of what procedures need to be put in place to reduce costs-          Sampling various products/prototypes-          Continuous Improvement methods They are ideally looking for a Quality Engineer with the following background:-          Working knowledge/experience in plastic injection moulding (ESSENTIAL)-          Root Cause Analysis and issue resolution experience-          Worked to ISO 9001-          Strong QMS background-          Competent to work on their own when required-          Proficient in Microsoft Office-          Worked using techniques such as: 8D, 5Y, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Ishikawa, Poke Yoke. Ideally, they are looking to pay a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits including a 5% bonus and pension. They are looking to line up interviews as soon as possible and the interview process is usually a 2-stage process, with the first being a telephone conversation. If you don't hear anything within the next 2 working weeks then unfortunately you haven't been successful in your application.
