Modelling Analyst

The Role

The Modelling Analyst will be based with a leading UK Bank in Edinburgh on an initial contract length of 3 months (with the view to extend). The initial rate on offer is between £400-450/day, dependant on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a key workstream within the risk function where you will be responsible for the production of monthly impairment results, including variance analysis and business interpretation. You will also be looking after the oversight of impairment models and processes, and calculation of post model adjustments.

Essential skillset / Experience

* Good working knowledge of impairment reporting under IFRS9

* Modelling experience

* Excellent working knowledge of Excel

* Excellent working knowledge of SQL & SAS

* Demonstrates embedding of Risk Policies and Framework within the business

* Strong understanding of the Regulatory implications
