Javascript Developer - Haxe - PixiJS - Leeds - 3 month contract - £300-£350

My client are looking for a Javascript developer to join them in building products for some of the biggest names in the children's entertainment business. They are looking for an experienced Javascript Developer with experience of application development using Haxe or PixiJS or similar.

They are a growing sixty-plus team based in Leeds who build and deliver large scale applications and game projects for international clients such as Mattel, PBS and DreamWorks. This is a very exciting role to be involved in.

Requirements:

* Proven experience developing on the front and back end, and shipping successful products.

* Experience with a wide variety of programming languages, adaptability is essential as we pick the best technology for problem, rather than committing to one particular stack.

* Understanding of fundamental design principles and best practices used to create scalable applications

* Experience in application development using Haxe or PixiJS or something similar.

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge in up to date release management practices (Docker, continuous integration etc)

* Experience in writing tests and some test driven development

* Knowledge of Agile software development practices

* Understanding of web development best practices including concurrency, performance, caching and security concerns

* Knowledge of other back end languages/frameworks such as node or java spring or even
