As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with engineers in the UK engineering team based in Doncaster, Southport, Stockport, Leeds and York to design; Electronic Train control systems, image processing systems, power distribution systems, renewable energy management, LED Signals, remote condition monitoring and Modern communication networks.

The role:

* Embedded Software Engineer

* Working within a small team (4 other software engineers)

* Working on specialist products for the digital rail industry

* Full Development life cycle

* working across highly skilled engineering teams

* Opportunity to work on cutting edge rail technology whilst being able to technically progress

The Person

* Embedded Software experience

* Experience working with microcontrollers and the interface with digital and analogue circuitry.

* Understanding of mathematics and digital signal processing techniques

* Looking for exposure to cutting rail technology in a business offering lots of technical progression
