Opportunity for an embedded software engineer looking to take on more technical responsibility working in a large business but small software team dedicated to digital rail technology.

As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with engineers in the UK engineering team based in Doncaster, Southport, Stockport, Leeds and York to design; Electronic Train control systems, image processing systems, power distribution systems, renewable energy management, LED Signals, remote condition monitoring and Modern communication networks.

The role:

* Embedded Software Engineer

* Working within a small team (4 other software engineers)

* Working on specialist products for the digital rail industry

* Full Development life cycle

* Technically Lead project (Senior)

The Person

* Embedded Software experience

* Experience working with microcontrollers and the interface with digital and analogue circuitry.

* Understanding of mathematics and digital signal processing techniques
