Role: Consolidation Accountant

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Start: 1st of September

Duration: 9 months

You will be joining the Group Accounting team which is responsible for the delivery of financial reporting, preparation of the quarterly and annual reports and SEC filings, Group-level management reporting, core financial consolidation and analytics accounting policy, training and corporate transaction support, and the accounting and reporting for employee defined benefit pension plans. The team is composed of 2 SMEs and the manager - there are two teams in Zurich and 2 supporting teams in India and the USA.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for monitoring restructuring expenses and reporting them to the various stakeholders

* P&L Adjustments / One-off items

* Support HC monthly report and quarterly disclosure including monthly reconciliation with HR figures, variance explanations, trends analysis, HC allocations transparency.

* Quarterly performance of SOX Control

* Quarterly performance of SOX Testing

Required Experience

* A minimum of 3-5 years of Management Accounting experience, ideally gained within the Financial Services industry

* University degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration and/or Finance. Finance qualification such as CMA, CIMA, Chartered Accountancy or equivalent is a plus

* Strong analytical and numerical skills

* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, skills in Essbase a plus
