Experienced IT Field Engineer - Server & Infrastructure Support

Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (office/field based, covering the West End and Greater London)

£28,000 - £36,000 DOE Plus Private Healthcare (after qualifying period), 20 Days’ Holiday + Bank Holidays & Perkbox

Our client provides network support and develops IT systems, serving the SME marketplace. An opportunity has now arisen for an Experienced IT Field Engineer to join their team based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

If you’re a talented IT professional with experience of Windows Servers, networks and firewalls and first-class communication skills, this is a great opportunity to join a thriving, successful company.

Based at various client sites around the West End and Greater London, as an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out desktop and server installation, support and maintenance. In particular, you will support small and medium sized businesses that come from many different business sectors with anything, from one to over one hundred people.

Working alongside highly skilled professionals, you’ll enjoy working with people in different areas of the business and gain valuable experience with a leading company.

As you will be required to attend our client’s offices in Borehamwood on a regular basis, you will need to live within a reasonable commute of the WD6 postcode area.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have two years’ experience in the following:

- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2010 - Installation and support

- Networks - Designing and implementing

- Firewalls - Configuring and troubleshooting

- Virtualisation - VMware

- Office 365

- Exchange 2013/2016

As an Experienced IT Engineer, you will need superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational abilities and good decision-making skills. A full driving licence is also essential.
