Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer at a rapidly expanding manufacturing company working from their site in Kent, offering a competitive salary plus a full package including car allowance.The Company:My client is known for their excellence, innovation and reliability. They are seeking a highly capable Project Engineer, who is able to efficiently manage client accounts and projects from conceptualisation and design through to the final delivery of the product on time and within budget. Prior experience working in electro-mechanical design and development is desirable, as well as demonstrated ability to work in highly regulated environments, with knowledge of ISO quality management systems and requirements. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivery of products as well as assessing KPIs throughout the process, adherence with a stage-gated project management system with ability to work independently and with teams on project plansProject Engineering experience from most manufacturing/regulated environments are considering as well as any complex design/development/delivery environment (eg Automotive)Project Engineer Role

'€¢Plan, organise and manage own workload as well as develop project plans and drive implementation.'€¢Generate detailed engineering documentation, drawings, procedures and protocols as required.'€¢Implement agree designs for release into manufacture.'€¢Identify critical performance characteristics within component and assemblies for existing product range.'€¢Drive multiple project and design reviews with colleagues'€¢Responsible for development of protocols for testing components'€¢Lead and project engineer/manager a portfolio of engineer projects to investigate alternative technologies, production processes and sources of supply for reduced cost and/or improved quality and reliability

Project Manager Requirements:

'€¢Bachelor's/HNC/HND or experience in technical roles'€¢Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions'€¢Strong planning skills'€¢Interpersonal/people management skills'€¢Experienced in Project Engineering desirable but not essential'€¢PMP/Prince2 and MS Projects accreditation desirable but not essential'€¢The role requires the post holder to fulfil development activities and/or work overseas as reasonably requested by the company from time to time, a valid passport will be required
