IT Service Continuity Consultant to be based in Milton Keynes on a 4 Month contract. Experienced ITSCM Consultant delivering IT Service Continuity Management/Disaster Recovery services.

Job Title - IT Service Continuity Consultant

Location - Milton Keynes

Rate - £ 450 per day

Duration - 4 Months

IT Service Continuity Management

* Define and implement processes for identifying, assessing and tracking IT service continuity risks, primarily planning an appropriate involvement of the functional responsible departments as well as the emergency management.

* Define appropriate involvement of 3rd party service providers in IT Service Continuity Management.

* Create a skills matrix to establish deputies or skills gaps, in the event of an IT emergency Furthermore, substitution regulations are defined for important roles.

* Support the identification of single points of failure as well as dependencies between the processes, services and systems.

SKILLS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED

* Hand-on experience delivering IT Service Continuity Management/Disaster Recovery services.

* Exposure to ITIL V3 service management principles and working in a service centric environment.

* Strong entrepreneurial thinking, actively looking for innovative ideas and opportunities for service improvement.

* Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to demonstrate systematic thought processes.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent time-management skills.

Desirable

· ITIL Qualified beyond foundation level
