I am looking to speak to Business Analyst's who have experience mediating between stakeholders, documenting user stories and deliveing efficient workflows and technical developments.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to:

Conducting Business Process Modelling

* Investigate and record existing business processes and systems using a range of techniques;

* Identify process changes needed to meet stakeholder and user requirements;

* Assist programme SRO in resolving conflicts in the vision for the new business environment and setting up the target operating model for the business;

* Identify, define and present options for business change, including opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.

Identifying and Documenting System Requirements

* Capture and analyse requirements expressed by internal stakeholders and users;

* Fully and accurately document findings and measures for assessing delivery;

* Assist in prioritising requirements to ensure solutions address the core need for the proposal.

Writing and Prioritising User Stories

* Assist in tailoring solutions to priorities and budget;

* Working with the Programme SRO to develop clear, thorough, and realistic user stories to meet business needs;

* Consult users and stakeholders to ensure proposals meet business requirements;

* Conduct or commission feasibility studies where appropriate.

Creating Transition Plans

* identify, define and document business transition activities (e.g. training, parallel running, go-live support);

* Develop measures, targets, and performance indicators; monitor and report analytic to support future business analysis;

* Identify, track and measure benefits realisation associated with business change activity.

Assessing Costs, Risks, and Issues

* Working with the Programme SRO, establish the skills and resourcing required to deliver options for changes in the business environment;

* Working with the Programme SRO, document risks, issues and impacts associated with options for changes in business environment;

* Working with the Programme SRO, identify appropriate mitigating actions for consideration by the Programme Board.

Reporting through Meetings, Reports, and Analytic and Other Management Information

* Report on progress at meetings

* Consult and advise key stakeholders in one to one meetings

* Communicate fully and effectively to the wider group of internal and external stakeholders

* Challenge current thinking as necessary

Specialist skills are required for this role which include:

Minimum Requirements (Essential)

* Extensive experience of business analysis and business process modelling

* Professional qualification in Business Analysis (for example, at least four modules contributing to the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis) or equivalent experience

* Experience of using different tools and techniques to elicit information from disparate stakeholders, including for example workshops, structured interviews, and surveys

* Experience of taking information from a disparate group of people and synthesising it into a coherent whole that can be understood by technical and non-technical staff

* Experience of presenting information in a variety of forms, including for example documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and diagrams

* Experience of working with stakeholders to prioritise requirements, mediating as necessary between stakeholder groups to resolve conflicts in the vision for the new business environment

* Experience writing user stories

* Experience of developing metrics and Key Performance Indicators

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Basic understanding of Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2) and Programme Management (e.g. MSP)

* Knowledge of Continual Improvement / LEAN Six Sigma

Additional Requirements (Desirable)

* Holds current qualification in BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis

* Experience in working within a project environment (e.g. PRINCE 2, APM, PMBOK)

* Experience of agile development methodologies

* Experience in using Microsoft Project or other project management software
