We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager to join a world-leader in the design and manufacture of high-tech systems for the aerospace industry based in Gloucestershire. This global leader provide electro-mechanical systems for some of the biggest names in the aerospace industry.

As Senior Programme Manager you will be responsible will be responsible for the interface to external customers and coordinating all aspects of the various programmes for allocated customer accounts focusing on driving 100% On Time Delivery at 100% Quality. In addition, you'll be involved with developing new business and the construction of winning bids.

You will also be providing programme management leadership for both parts of and complete projects as designated by the Programmes Director. Driving the project, coordinate allocation of functional resource support/engagement, planning, reporting and delivery aspects of the project.

To be considered for this position, as a minimum requirement you need the following skills/ experience;

* Minimum 5 years programme or project management experience within a manufacturing/ engineering environment.

* Educated to a degree level in a relevant engineering discipline and have a proven track record of programme and team management.

* Experience of managing the entire life cycle of new and complex development projects to tight timescales. Experience of managing 'design and manufacture' subcontracts.

* Customer facing experience.

* Experience of working in the Aerospace industry would be an advantage.

Whilst aerospace/defence background is clearly the ideal industry choice it's certainly not the only one they will consider. The key measurable for this company will be your experience as programme/ project leader within the manufacturing engineering sector.

For this position the basic salary will be up to £60,000 and has a competitive benefits package.
