Senior Planner - Construction

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: Up to £70,000 car/allowance (£6k) + health + pension

The Opportunity for a Senior Planner

Due to their impressive growth an opportunity now exists for an ambitious Senior Planner to join their Special Projects Division. Reporting to the planning manager, the Senior Planner will work on an even mix of tenders and live projects as the framework for this project is due to last 10 years. The total cost of the project you will be focused on is in the region of £400 Million and will include a range of sectors including residential, retail, housing and infrastructure.

This is a long term project which will require a confident senior planner to take the lead and get completely stuck in. The ideal candidate will have both a build and infrastructure background.

Senior planner requirements

* Circa 5 years' experience as a construction Planner.

* Exposure to a varied range of commercial construction projects.

* A stable employment record with well-known main contractors.

* Commercially aware, excellent communication and people skills.

* Educated to a high standard in a relevant subject.

* Proficient in Asta PowerProject software.

* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
